The Olympic Games, seen worldwide by 4.4 billion television viewers, represents one of the biggest international events. It is a moment of enthusiasm and intense excitement.
The opening ceremony of the Games of Beijing drew 2 billion viewers, in other words, 1/3 of the world population…
The contemporary Olympic Games are marked by key moments: the opening ceremony, the 100m athletics final, or the 100m swimming final… Furthermore, the Olympic Games are also, and mainly, a gathering of more than 10,000 athletes from more than 200 nations. It includes 26 different sports divided into 39 disciplines; representing for the majority of the top athletes on our planet, the peak of their career.
During these 17 days of Olympic Games, the whole world has its eyes on the performances of the best athletes in the world, experiencing these intense emotions. Some privileged persons have the opportunity to experience these unique celebrations live.
The Olympic Games are different from most of the other sport events. They offer a nonstop global atmosphere of celebrations and exchange during the whole event period: it is a real moment of magic on a broad scale.
Aristeia is the Olympic Games specialist: as a matter of fact, Olivier Carteret is a former Olympic athlete. He took part in two preparations for the Olympic Games: Atlanta 96 and Sydney 2000. He was trained through contact with the Olympic world. During more than 10 years, he grew into this particular universe of top sport and preparations for the Games!
What is more, the agency made its debut in Sydney during the Olympic Games of 2000. We created the agency (cf. History) in order to present solutions to local problems encountered by certain partners of the French Olympic Committee. At that time, Olivier Carteret was Olympic attaché assistant, in the service of the CNOSF (French Olympic Committee), in day-to-day contact with the SOCOG (Sydney Organising Committee For The Olympic Games). From this enriching experience, he gained a precise understanding of the system: the importance of the relationships between the International Olympic Committee, the organising committee, the international sports federations, the TOP partners, the local partners, the media, the national Olympic Committees…
Since 2000, Aristeia has offered hospitality services for every Olympic Games. Meaning we have 6 Olympic Games under our belt! We have increased our knowledge of the Olympic system considerably by working from 2006 for the National Olympic Committees.
In this way we represent no less than 13 National Olympic Committees for the London Olympic Games.
Spain, Angola, Bosnia and Herzegovia, Burkina Faso, Cape Verde, Comoros, Congo, Gabon, Malaysia, Morocco, Sâo Tome e Principe, Chad.
