The French Open in Paris which gather the international grand slam tennis elite are one of the primary events on the annual sporting calendar. It is also the most stylish sporting event of the circuit or business community, all Paris and the stars of the show business like to meet up there. In fact, what a pleasure it is to taste the ultimate culinary innovations of the French "grands chefs" while enjoying the beautiful, sunny Parisian spring days, before admiring the best tennis players in the world… What an opportunity to attend a first class sporting event, in the middle of the exceptionally green environment of the Boulogne forest, in the middle of the 16th district in Paris!
As a marriage between tradition and modernity, the tournament of Roland Garros is certainly compatible with French elegance. The hospitality services offered in the course of the tournament (five star breakfast, perfect personal welcome, luxury products) are one of the best you can find in the sporting events world. The Musketeer’s Trophy has no reason to be jealous of the prestigious American Cup! The top position of the tournament and the glamorous image give the tournament an exceptional character respected by the whole world. The proximity of Paris is a particular attraction for the foreign visitors who can enjoy both the tournament and the charms of the City of Lights on the same day.
The French Tennis Federation responsible for the tournament, has reflected for a couple of years on the future of this flagship event which at present has a turnover of €135.5 million (of which 40 million is generated by the international TV rights, and €56 million by partnerships and public relations).
Despite all the changes, two main goals were outlined:
• Modernise the sporting infrastructure: 450 000 spectators were welcomed in 2010, which could be increased to 600, 000 after the renovations in 2016.
• Making the event more international: that is why the French Tennis Federation has decided to appeal to Aristeia, the agency with international experience offering prestigious and uninhibited services, in order to represent the tournament and commercialise it abroad.
Furthermore, we became partners of the French Tennis Federation in 2010.
We count on using our international skills to assist the French Tennis Federation with extending Roland Garros beyond French borders. Thanks to the close cooperation with the French Tennis Federation, we have developed thorough expertise, in service of our clients…
